1.1 Introduction

This manual is published in terms of section 51 of the Promotion of Access to Information Act, 2000 (PAIA). It provides a reference to the records held by H2OGuru Shop and explains the procedures required to request access to such records.

1.4 Categories of Records Held

The following categories of records may be held by the body. Please note that availability depends on the specific request and may be subject to grounds for refusal under PAIA:

1.5 Request Procedure

  1. Submit Written Request: Send your request to the Information Officer at wikus@h2oguru.co.za or the physical address listed above.
  2. Detail the Record: Provide enough detail to allow the Information Officer to identify the record.
  3. Specify Form of Access: State if you require a hard copy, an electronic version, or an inspection of the record.
  4. Proof of Authority: If requesting on behalf of someone else, provide written proof of your authority to act.
  5. Fees: Pay the prescribed request fee and access fee (if applicable) as notified by the Information Officer.

1.6 Fees

Fees for requests are prescribed by South African regulation. The Information Officer will provide an estimate of any applicable fees (for reproduction, search, or preparation time) before the request is processed in full.
